family room with fireplace and built-in shelving
The new family room has a linear, gas fireplace with built-in shelving and re-claimed wood accents. Four windows and a glass door leading to the new open deck create an indoor -outdoor feel for this room. Natural bamboo flooring and weathered gray tile add warmth to the clean layout. An old basement wood timber is used for the fireplace mantle.

kitchen with breakfast bar
The open kitchen contains a mix of maple base cabinets, glass wall cabinets, open shelving and white subway tile. Stainless appliances, Corian countertops and a back counter of butcher block will work well for the home chef. The peninsula island / breakfast bar with pendant lighting adds additional seating.

master bedroom suite
The master bedroom suite has a volume ceiling with large windows. A bed wall of re-claimed wood was salvaged from the house during the renovation. Built-in shelving create additional areas of display. Two bedroom closets provided storage. A master bathroom with separate shower complete the suite.

This house has undergone quite a transformation from the original structure and we are very pleased with the finished product of both the interior and exterior space.
